In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Jobs appearing in wrong categoriesHi there,
I wanted to follow up on my previous message regarding the category filtering issue we’re experiencing with WP Job Manager.
To recap: Jobs from the “Gesundheitswesen” category are incorrectly appearing when filtering for the “Bau” category (https://spj.ch/jobs/?search_category=bau), despite being correctly assigned in the backend and all other categories working as expected.
We’re using the core
[jobs]shortcode as recommended in your documentation, not the Elementor Connector widget. This issue is affecting our client’s website functionality, and we would really appreciate any guidance or insight you could provide on:
- Whether this is a known bug with specific category slugs
- Any debugging steps we should try
- Potential workarounds while a fix is being developed
We’ve already performed standard troubleshooting (cleared caches, disabled plugins, switched themes) without success.
Looking forward to your response.
Thank you! Branka

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Jobs appearing in wrong categoriesHi there,
Thank you for your response. However, I need to clarify that we are not using the Elementor Connector widget for the filtering functionality.
We are actually using the
[jobs]shortcode on that page, specifically:[jobs per_page="10" show_pagination="false" orderby="date" order="desc"]We implemented this following the official WP Job Manager documentation here: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/advanced-usage/preselect-filters-on-jobs-page-using-url-query-strβ¦
What’s working correctly:
- The subcategories dropdown is functioning properly and showing the correct data
- Other categories work as expected, for example: https://spj.ch/jobs/?search_category=gesundheitswesen
The specific problem: Only the “Bau” category shows incorrect results: https://spj.ch/jobs/?search_category=bau
Jobs that are exclusively assigned to the “Gesundheitswesen” category in the backend are appearing in the “Bau” category results (see screenshots attached).
What we’ve already tried:
- Cleared website cache
- Disabled Elementor cache
- Disabled plugins one by one
- Switched to a default theme
- Verified multiple times that the affected jobs are only assigned to “Gesundheitswesen” and not to “Bau”.
None of these steps resolved the issue. Since this problem only occurs with the “Bau” category while all other categories filter correctly, we suspect this may be a bug with how WP Job Manager processes this specific category.
Could you please investigate this further?
Thank you! Branka

Yes, of course … please send me the code. The output of the posts/recipes is based on one Elementor template. How come the print preview is different?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Works great, thank you!!
Thanks.
Can I just upload the new version via FTP to the plugins directory?Thank you for the detailed info, this helps me a lot!
Unfortunately the embed with youtube-nocookie.com is not working at all, not even with html code instead of the youtube widget from Elementor.
Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks!Great, this is it π
Thanks! Is it problematic to have the Elementor integration disabled?
Hi,
I have the same problem as @minkeball.
Please see http://neu.fastenhaus.at/rezept-des-monats/. From page 16 onwards the content can’t be found, see here.I also have the latest version of Elementor Pro and WP, and am using ACF.
Thanks!!
Never mind! Now that I look at the screenshots I see that I have not checked the list to subscribe to π hahahhaa
Hello, I have the same problem as sokergruppen.
I checked everything you are referring to but unfortunately I still get the message “Oops. Something went wrong. Please try again later.”

In reply to: [Mailchimp List Subscribe Form] Uh-oh, you don't have any lists defined!Hi Kath,
I logged out and logged back in again, but there are still no lists showing. Could it be about a setting from my hosting provider maybe?
