In reply to: [Food Online for WooCommerce] Opening hoursCould you perhaps recommend one that you have used successfully (ideally an unpaid version). Thanks

In reply to: [RestroPress - Online Food Ordering System] Delivery addressAha – It appears you have fixed the issue, and I now have address fields showing in my checkout page. Seems to all work OK, except for the first address field, below Enter Your Address, showing ‘Sorry! Something went wrong’.

In reply to: [RestroPress - Online Food Ordering System] Order NotificationAssigned an SSL certificate to the site, which allowed me to ‘allow notifications’ for the site in Google Chrome. All working fine now, it seems : )

In reply to: [RestroPress - Online Food Ordering System] Delivery addressOK, and I would appreciate if you could share the custom code, but I would suggest that you prioritise the addition of an address field, as a food delivery website where customers can’t enter their address doesn’t really make sense (?) (It is also a bit confusing that your demo app has this feature)

In reply to: [RestroPress - Online Food Ordering System] Google MapsThen I am confused as to why, under General Settings, there are fields for Google Map settings?

In reply to: [RestroPress - Online Food Ordering System] Order NotificationThanks for your reply Kshirod –
Order Notification was/is enabled.
I am receiving emails OK (in fact 2 identical Food Order Notification emails each time an order is submitted), but no ‘push notification’ (which I presume should be a pop-up alert on the screen of the device I am logged into as an administrator – is that correct?)
About to give it a try.
Thanks for the feedback.

Hmmm !
Have been fiddling and think I might have found a crude fix, should anyone else encounter the same problem …
If I go to EVENTS, SETTINGS, PAGES, EVENT CATEGORIES and set Override with Formats to ‘NO’, then the error message mysteriously disappears!
The problem is then that the lists of events in a particular category are presented as an archive, and thus have the text ‘Blog Archives’ as a heading, although I have managed to get around this by editing the theme’s archive.php file (using APPEARANCE,EDITOR) to delete the text ‘Blog Archives’ (which guess I could have instead changed to something else, had I wanted).
If anyone could suggest an explanation for/a more elegant solution to this particular problem, then please add a post.

Resolved!
Switch from Twenty Ten to Twenty Twelve has cured the problem.
Thanks for the advice.

Have just tried deactivating all plugins, except for EM and FullMenu, and switching theme from Twenty Ten to Twenty Twelve, but am still getting the same message : (
Hi –
Am wondering if any further progress has been made in resolving this issue?
I too am experiencing difficulties in listing events within a specific category without the following error message being displayed –
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /homepages/46/d460955225/htdocs/International_Legal_English/wp-content/plugins/events-manager/classes/em-category-taxonomy.php on line 22
Am presently in the process of fleshing my site out with content, during the course of which I intend to upgrade to the PRO version of the software, and it would be great if I was able to list events by category, as the plugin is otherwise absolutely ideal for my purposes.
P.S. Would be more than happy to make the contents of my site (as they presently stand) available for inspection/experimentation, if this might help to get to the bottom of the problem.
