Same problem. I regret ever allowing my students to use this theme. They’re now job hunting and their primary portfolio piece is broken.

The 6.0 update completely broke the home page, and the recovery steps don’t work (the “import” option never appears in Appearance after adding the weblizer plugin). The main menu has weird blue hovers and toggles and is now displaying vertically instead of horizontally, with no means in customizer to fix it. And the home page photo scroller is broken.

I reverted to an older 5.x version of the theme to recover the home page, but the menu and scroller remain broken. Nothing else has changed since July 2019, other than WordPress updates.

The sheer number of support posts I’m finding with the same problems (and the developer’s repeated “send me a screenshot” replies, when this interface does not provide an attachment option) is disheartening.

Will that get the issues fixed any faster?

Thanks, jcexygy! I’ve used your fix and it is working. I hate to directly edit plugins, so I hope that the next release of this plugin incorporates this fix!
