Don’t worry – we are having the same issue… 455 galleries and ‘0’ images showing in them. Derek (Sunshine) is aware of the issue, although it’s about 3am his time currently so don’t expect anything for a few hours! All of our galleries are made using FTP so I can only assume this is the issue – knew I should have installed the new plugin version on a test site 😀
All the images are definitely unaffected, so hopefully it will work – although, I made a test gallery and used FTP to create it, it makes the album cover but no images in the album when you enter it.
Derek to the rescue – new Lightbox update available!
Thank you!
Sorry – think I hit report accidentally!
Hoping someone can help with out issue though 😉
We have upped our server memory allowance to 2GB and that has solved the problem!
Unfortunately – this was all working perfectly before the weekend – not even sure if anything has changed.
If I turn the lightbox off all works smoothly and fast, as soon as I turn the plugin back on, it takes an age to load the galleries – nothing is clickable – not products or the lightbox.
Really hoping Derek can help.
I will raise a ticket – although the last ticket I raised didn’t get seen.
It seems to be working other than the lightbox – this is heavily slowing down the gallery loading times and the lightbox not even working, turn the plugin off and it’s super quick! AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!
Thanks for your help on this – I believe this is actually a server issue rather than Sunshine issue.
Thanks again
I keep getting HTTP ERROR 500
Any ideas?
Thanks for the response… This was the message from my web support:
[28/08, 22:08] Stuart Duncan: You’ll need to contact their support to ask about php and apache recommended settings
[28/08, 22:08] Stuart Duncan: And is there is a way to set the compression levelHopefully this means something to you?
I’d like a response too. If I upload by FTP it works fine, just not via the gallery upload in dashboard.
Great response and one that I feel was not necessarily needed, I understand people’s frustration but perhaps a little sensitivity should have been adopted rather than ranting on here. I’ve never come across any problems with the plugins and it’s actually brought me sales etc.
Please don’t take this as a critism to the original post, it’s a mere look into the fact that people do have lives outside of their jobs, I just hope people think before they speak.
Keep up the work sunshine, one happy customer here!
Scrap that – I was already logged into a gallery – all appears to be working!!!
thanks again
Fantastic, thank you for your response, I now have the cart and checkout displaying, I have products and catergories set up but no ‘add to cart’ button on images.
Any further ideas?
Feel like I’m sooo nearly there!
