    Thank you!  I am setting up a staging site site to test.  I am very cautious about plugins on my production site.

    Thanks again, for your efforts to help me solve my problem. I looked at the Tako plugin and it may not be compatible with the latest version of WordPress:

    “…This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress…”

    I’m concerned if this modifies entries in the database it could introduce significant corruption causing more serious problems.

    Do you know how comments are linked to the page? Is it by page name, a unique ID. Could I possibly delete the old page and create a new one and reuse the ID.

    Unfortunately the Copy or Move Comments plugin has been removed due to security issues see: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/copy-or-move-comments/

    Also I’m not familiar enough with the wordpress DB schema or even which db to look at. I am assuming it is all in a MySQL db?
