Just to add to this. I’m running w/ Word Press 1.5.1.3 (installed via Fantastico on Redhat w/ cPanel Stable). If you try to access the xmlrpc.php file directly, you get this:
“XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.”
Now, I have PEAR-XML_RPC updated. I’m currently sitting at version 1.4.0. PHP is still version 4.3.11, however.
Any thoughts on a fix? It would be nice to use a client versus logging in via web all the time. I can post, but I get an error doing so and I can’t edit previous posts, like I could previously. I get fatal errors or other error types of all sorts with different blogging clients that I attempt to use. I still have my movabletype installation on the server while I port entries to WP. MT doesn’t generate any errors when editing or trying to post. However, MT is posted to a CGI file versus a php file.
I’m pulling my hair out trying to find a fix. This is annoying.
