Found the issue for us – a conflict with Post Type Switcher: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/post-type-switcher/
We’ll just keep it deactivated for now…

The 4.0.3 DM plugin update this weekend did not resolve this issue, unfortunately.
We’re on WordPress 4.9.4 – this was occurring on 4.9.3 as well.
My client’s site is also experiencing this same exact issue, even with the 4.0.2 update.
