Before I saw your response I did find what may be the issue; in the WP Dashboard>Tools>WP PubMed Relist section I found some red text “php SimpleXML module not found. This is required to process NCBI query results.”
I’m going to have this installed ASAP and let you know if resolved my issue.

Here’s some info I’ve gathered:
I’m running: WordPress 5.0.3
PHP 7.3.1, php openSSL enabled
Apache/2.4.6 (CentOS)I tried a deactivate and reactivate of the plugin – didn’t help.
With the plugin deactivated, my page content shows up…
Thinking next to do a complete removal of the plugin, but I don’t have much info from this site on what to remove other than the plugin in the wp-plugin dir. (maybe I missed some places to check..)
