ernguru you may want to consider wp optimize. It is a free plugin which will delete revisions, optimize database and many more things.
2.14 is actually fantastic. never tried this plugin before 2.2 and that had potential but broke half my site ie header would not stick, portfolio would not load and it took an age to load. A commentator suggested using 2.14 so I did and it is brilliant. It seems this plugin needs the original developer back as the new ones not know what they do.
Cheers for that, first time I tried was the newest one and it was horrible although I knew it had potential.
