Any update on this? The nagging security warning and lack of plugin update is concerning, although it’s good to see you responded here right away.
Just a bump up. I’m revisiting this subject after upgrading to the latest version of NextGEN Gallery.
What I’m looking for is what I ended up accomplishing with a different gallery plugin on the home page of this site:
As you can see, I have three different galleries, each with rotating images with different timing, so the rotation isn’t synched. What I would love to see is NextGEN Gallery shortcode to define how long it takes before each image switch.
I would rather do this with NextGEN Gallery, since I’m using it for the main photo gallery on the same site. It would be nice if the client didn’t have to learn how to use multiple gallery plugins!
In addition, it would be great to have shortcode for the transition (fade) between slides as well, if that’s not already available.
Note that in my link above I have changed to a different slideshow plugin to get the results I wanted. So the rotating images in that link are no longer being handled by the NextGen plugin.
I would still prefer to use NextGen for this, as the image upload and management is much more straightforward with NextGen.
I’d very much appreciate any help with my question, if anyone has any ideas.
I realize I didn’t give version information: I’m using the latest versions of WordPress and the NextGen gallery plugin.
