Yes, it was 7.1.1 of course, not nine, sorry. Have solved the issue in the meantime and it seems that woocommerce was NOT the culprit 😉 I deleted an ._index.php and similar other — appearantly corrupted — files in the /wp-content directory that seen to have caused the 500 Internal Server Error. Not sure what exactly been the initial trigger, but maybe another plugin that I’ve updated.

It seems to have been a theme issue, I edited the .po with PoEdit and then uploaded the .po/.mo files via FTP to my child themes directory. Now Loco Translate has access to it and it works like charme 🙂

OK, thanks for the reply, will try to work that out. But it seems there is just one language file.
