I am using the same database. I don’t want to lose all the content.

I changed the name of the old wordpress directory (wordpress > wordpressOLD) then unpacked a new copy of wordpress to “wordpress”. I updated the wp-config with the connection details.

Logging in to /wordpres/wp-admin caused a new error_log to be created showing an attempt at changing the user id password.

    I am wondering about wp-cron.

    Thanks for posting the fix.

I’m not sure if it will help me but I have subscribed to the twitter REST API v1.1 Discussions.

If Tweet This is no longer on the plugin list I may have to change to something else before March 2013.

There is some stuff out there about twitter and API changes. Perhaps that has something to do with it?

Tweet This no longer appears in the wordpress plugin pages, or am I not looking in the right place?

I have just upgraded a site to 3.3.1 using Twenty Eleven and the Main Sidebar disappeared. I was looking for a solution and noticed that it shows on blogs but not pages. Since the home page is a page the sidebar was not showing to visitors until a blog was selected from the menu.

I then realised that not all pages would need the sidebar so it is reasonable for it to be an option for the page. I went to the individual pages and found on the right the Template drop-down. Selecting Sidebar Template from the options then displays the sidebar on those pages I want it to appear.

    Simples.
