In reply to: switched hosting acct to new domain, now can’t log in to WPHi, did you call at least 3 times to godaddy? some techs are better than others.
When you switched hosting, The new domain may not work with the old data base.
Backup your godaddy wp database and then create a new database on the server your domain is, you may need to re- run the config and then upload all your content. There may be an easier way, but this is really not my specialty.

In reply to: Missing MySQL ?This may or may not help, but for my forum I had to add the “index.php” to the links etc. Then everything works fine. There may be a code thing to do a better fix, but this did work for me.

In reply to: How do I add a Title name for siteyou mean more like this at http://snailrider.com/snailtrails ?
Here is how I did it.
Right click on the header image you want to change. Select the “open image” option.
Now look at the directory path in the address bar of your browser. The last part is the name of the header or banner. Write that down on a piece of paper.
Now open your ftp program up and navigate to the folder where that image was stored. Rename that image, just incase you want to use it later.
Upload your new header or banner. You must rename the banner or header image to that of the original, and that should work for you.
So basically you are just replacing the image using all the same file names and paths, with your new picture.
Make sense?

In reply to: Is WordPress down?Godaddy data base servers can be very slow. And I mean very slow. You are on a shared database server, and if someone elses is hogging bandwidth, you are out of luck
As far as multiple entries, that would not be a godaddy issue, but maybe a javascript from an ad or counter if you have one. I am far from an expert on wp blog.

In reply to: home page wont display after installationBad advice is still better than no advice. Here is my bad advice. Change the name of the install.php file to maybe install.txt. Try then, and if it works your good to go, if not, at least you still have the file on your server.
I don’t remember if it is supposed to be removed after install for security reasons
