Thanks for the great reply! Currently I have “Darma” points which I distribute like this
Logging in (1 Darma per day)
Commenting on other people’s posts (1 Darma per comment)
Receiving a comment (1 Darma per comment)
Publishing a new article (1 Darma per post)The rating option would’ve just meant that to rate, an author needs to spend a point — this means that authors have to think twice before rating, which might encourage less trolling. I don’t want to use WP Post Ratings because users can’t vote twice on something, which is a huge drawback. You make a good point — “but you will need a custom development to add an extra check to prevent them continue rating posts until get a minimum amount of points.” Unfortunately that is beyond my understanding. In any case this is not 100% needed, it would just be a nice way to encourage honest rating.
Good to hear about Ultimate Member integration! It’d be Fantastic if user points showed up on Ultimate Member and in things like Social Activity (extension in Ultimate member).

In reply to: [YASR - Yet Another Star Rating Plugin for WordPress] Gamipress Integration?Just to clarify. Gamipress already has a plugin integration with WP PostRatings, but they are not as good as Yasr in my opinion. I think that a ratings/gamification combination is in high demand.
PS. To clarify — I meant that it would be good if users can use points to rate content. I know there’s an extension with WP Postratings, but users can’t re-cast their vote on there which I think is a big drawback. I think a good gamification/content rating duo can be a really cool combination. And more support for Ultimate Member, if possible. Thanks, I think you have a great plugin.
