If the HTML is compatible with Apple News format, it will be converted as with any other content. If you want to remove specific shortcodes before publishing, I encourage you to use the filter

- You’ve installed multiple copies of the same plugin
- Your download of the plugin was incomplete.
Can you please reinstall the plugin and verify you only have one copy of the plugin in your plugins directory? If the problem persists beyond that, please let us know.
I’d suggest you enable debug mode to see the response from Apple News.
Your PHP error logs are something you can ask your hosting company about. Please check for any errors related to Apple News. Thanks.

Do you see any errors in your PHP error log for those posts?

Articles can be published to multiple sections within Apple News. They will be available in both.
There is not a way to do so. You might explore writing your own script for it via WP-CLI.
It will be easiest for us to help you if you can provide the JSON file for this post as well as the HTML from the Text tab in the WordPress editor via http://pastebin.com/.
