It’s highly unlikely that these two things are related. I wouldn’t want others to think this is a definitive solution. We are looking into the unicode issue separately.

Therefore, you would need to handle any customizations to how your content is published into Apple News on your end. There are many available filters to customize how your content is published to Apple News.

For further clarification on how ads are served in Apple News, please follow up with Apple directly. The plugin does not control that.
