In reply to: Database/Memory problem when upgrading to 3.1Hi Tim upgraded to 3.1 and site including admin crashed yesterday. Host company is re-installing WordPress (they screwed Backups – a long story) but I had done a backup of database through site prior to upgrade. How much am I likely to lose of my 3,000 + posts, formatting etc.? I’m somewhat desperate
I crashed on 3.1 auto upgrade. Admin is also ‘gone’ – so how do I fix this not being able to get into admin to do anything – 3 years work down to drain!!

Have 2.9.1. and have installed Super Cache – did nothing. Have 5 plub ins. have a calendar installed, many photos and many pages linked to each other. I am a pleb but have run the site for 2 years. I struggle to understand some of the lingo used in techno forums. PLEASE HELP in language I can understand and I will be eternally grateful MiSociety
