In reply to: [Staff Directory] Editing the Permalink pageOk I figured out it uses the single.php template. Is there a way I can make it point to a custom one? With out messing up the style for my other blog posts? Thanks!

In reply to: [Staff Directory] Image SizeThanks for this thread! Just incase someone else runs into this issue. Make sure after you update you settings that you delete the image from your media library and re-upload it. Took me a little while to finally figure it out.
I have the same issue. I used the regen thumbnails app which works, but it’s still shifted to the left. I think the issue is that I’m trying to use the right column instead of the left. If I remove the right column it works fine. I feel like there’s some sort of php code that is changing something when the right column is added. I used firebug and shut off every piece of CSS for the right column and it didn’t fix this issue which is why I think it’s php related. Only by removing the right column which I don’t want to do fixes this issue. Anyone else having this problem with the right column?

In reply to: [WP Nivo Slider] images very pixellatedAwesome Thanks for this post!
Cool thanks! I just figured it out. I tested other themes and it worked. I was missing a closing </body> tag in my footer and now it works perfectly again. It’s weird that it stopped working on it’s own though. Maybe an update effected it. Thanks for your help!
I’m having the same issue. The lightbox worked for the longest time and I’m not sure after which update, but now mine doesn’t work at all. The weird thing is though when I’m in the admin panel and if I click the view link on an image in the manage gallery section it comes up in a lightbox. But when I go to the actual page it opens to a new page which I don’t want. I checked the links to the CSS and jS files and they’re all correct. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
Thanks!I don’t think there is. I think it’s pretty much what ever your server can hold. I don’t have 10,000 image, but I haven’t run into a block yet.

In reply to: Is auto-resizing ruining my photography website? Were there any specific images that came out bad for you? Everything that I’ve looked at seems to look fine for me. Nice and clean and not blurry at all. Your site and pictures look really nice by the way.
Your site looks really nice. My only complaint is on all of your sub pages “Packages and Pricing”,”Why Gentry”, “Blog”, and “Contact” the text in the upper area is really hard to read because of that background. Maybe try to make the copy a different copy to make it stand out over that background, or maybe place a transparent background to dull down that image to help make your text pop out more. Other then that it looks nice.
Good Luck.

In reply to: Need Honest ReviewI like this theme much more for your blog.
I don’t think you were hacked. I get this same issue when I activate certain plugins. I’m not sure if there’s an issue with the code of the plugin or if it’s something with my server. Has anyone here figured out how to fix this?
I moved the function.session-start code up and that seemed to work, but I had other errors which I’m not sure if it was because of this in the first place.
Thanks

In reply to: Need Opinion of WordPress CommunityThe site looks nice! My only complaint is the slider took a while to load. Now that it’s cached it loads faster, but the first time I almost thought it was broken.

In reply to: Would like to receive feedback?I don’t know if I’m a fan of your banner. I feel like it should pop a little more. The red curtains alone doesn’t do it for me. Maybe you can created a banner with some of the costumes in it. That’ll help break up that red and the vertical lines a bit. I also feel like I would like to see some larger images. Not a huge fan that I have click through 3 times before I can see an enlarged photo. I also think you should ditch the wood grain background. Just doesn’t look good to me.
I hope this helps and I think your site is on the right path. GL
