In reply to: [Firelight Lightbox] Problems on front page when More quicktag is employedHi Ravan,
Actually, I was using FancyBox for WordPress originally, but it no longer seems to be in development. Then I tried Easy FancyBox instead and was still having the same problems. I have since discovered that I had some extra “/” characters in my HTML code and that was the source of the problem.
I’m marking this problem as resolved since my issues were, in the end, not related to Easy FancyBox.
I just tried 3.4.1 and it looks like the problem is fixed. Outstanding!
Sorry. I forgot to add that if I can be of any assistance doing testing or providing additional information I am happy to help.
Thanks for your help. I just want to add a bit of additional information. This misbehavior seems to be browser dependent.
With CC deactivated: Safari and Firefox in OS X show the “awaiting moderation” message.
With CC activated: Safari in OS X, and Firefox and IE in Windows XP do not show the “awaiting moderation” message. However, Firefox in OS X does show the message and basically behaves as desired.
Weird.
Thanks for your quick reply. If I disable the Conditional CAPTCHA (CC) plug-in, my theme does in fact display the “awaiting moderation” message. However, when CC is activated the “awaiting moderation” message is not displayed.
Just to be clear, I am talking about comments where the reCAPTCHA text was entered corrected and the comment shows up in the WP administration dashboard waiting for me to accept or reject it.
Any ideas why this is happening?
@ueus Thanks for the suggestion. It took a fair amount of work for me to get ImageMagick and WP to play together nicely, but now the thumbnails generated by NGG and IM look the way the ought to. (And the thumbnail is tagged with the same ICC profile as the original.)
Now if I can just get NGG’s flash-based uploader to work I’ll be all set. Grrr…
I, too, am seeing the same problem. My original source image is tagged with an ICC profile. When NextGen creates the thumbnail, it removes the ICC profile, leaving the image untagged.
When I click on the thumbnail to bring up the full-sized image (in singlepic mode?) it exhibits an obvious color shift.
This is a rather serious problem for a plugin designed specifically to handle images. Isn’t there some way to tell the thumbnail-generating engine to preserve the tagged color profile?
Without a fix for this issue I’m afraid I’ll have to refrain from using NextGen, which otherwise appears to be a very powerful and useful plugin.
