Sorry for the delayed reply.
I think I found the issue. The issue is with the main menu. The main menu only shows the pages we add to the panels. we can create submenus but if we try to add custom items to the main menu, it doesn’t show.I was trying to add a new custom page called video gallery to the main menu. This page is not added to any panels.
Now as this page is not added to any panel, it doesn’t show in the main menu. when I tried to add the page as a submenu to the gallery item in the main menu. it works.So please check this issue as it seems to be an issue with the main menu.

Thanks for the update.
I have checked the menu configuration screens and yes, “Primary” is checked. attaching screenshots.
