I’m very surprised that the only way I can customize the search results page is by getting Astra Pro. I’m not against paying for certain things but it’s just that I’m a beginner and I think I won’t be using any of the other additional features Pro offers.
I tried changing the color of the text in the heading as you suggested but my goal is much bigger than that. I want to find a nice template and use it as my search results page. I want the page to look completely different.
I think I can do this with Elementor Pro as well but it’s quite costly just to be able to use one additional feature.
To your knowledge, there aren’t plugins or other ways of doing this without getting Pro versions or customizing CSS code?

One other idea that I just thought about: is it possible to limit the search results to the results that appear below the search bar? In other words, you can’t type a word, hit enter and go to a search results page; you’re limited to the results that appear below the search bar as you type search words.

I went back to the screen editor to check again for differences and I actually found one: the Template is set to Theme for that post, while Template is set to “Default template” in the other posts.
That fixed the problem.

I can’t find any differences between this post and all the other posts on that page (in the post grid).
I just found the solution: on the right hand side of the screen editor, there’s an A symbol for Astra Settings, and there, you can disable the Featured Image but just for that particular post. I checked the other video posts and that was ticked. I had completely forgotten about those Astra settings.

You understood the request correctly.
What I find strange is that the theme settings are configured for the featured image to show in the structure of each post. If I untick featured image from the structure, the featured image goes away in the post that you saw but then I lose the featured image in all of the other posts as well, and I need to have it in posts where I don’t just have a video.
If you or anybody else has any idea, I’d love to hear them.
