In reply to: [SSU - WordPress Amazon S3 & Wasabi Smart File Uploads Plugin] Found A BugHi Leslie,

They’re working on it now.
Can you please drop us an email at hello(at)profaceoff.com so that we can update you faster & easier, @lunabug?
Hi @harikjr88,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Yes, you’ve come to the right place. Our SSU plugin allows you to upload files directly to S3 buckets.
As for your use case, it looks possible with custom integration.
At first glance, we might need to replace Ninja Forms file uploads fields with ours.
To assist you better, may we know how you’d like your uploaded files to be named and stored?
Are your users required to log in to your site before uploading files/submitting forms?
Please send these details to our support email – hello(at)preventdirectaccess.com so that our team can support you faster.

In reply to: [SSU - WordPress Amazon S3 & Wasabi Smart File Uploads Plugin] Wrong File URLHi @tbaryan,
Thanks for reaching out to us last night.
We tried to reproduce the issue on our end without success. Everything is working correctly there.
Actually, we uploaded files via Media Library and a WooCommerce product page.
The generated S3 URLs are in the same format (contains bucket region):
https://{bucket-name}.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/{file}.pngSo could you please give us a screencast of the issue you’re facing?
Will the URLs work when you make files public, by the way?

Hi @baslkahtib,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Just to clarify, our SSU plugin hasn’t supported CDN yet.
That said, the function is already on our development plan, which will be released soon in our upcoming versions.
To assist you better, do you mind sharing with us more about your use case?

Hi @plisken,
Thanks for reaching out to us last night.
The warning comes from a permission issue where our AWS SDK fails to load configuration.
There are 2 solutions to resolve this:
#1. Configure open_basedir in php.ini that allows ~/.aws/config
#2. Set ENV variable to the default AWS configuration file
To do so, you can put this code at the end of your (child) theme functions.php:
#Change www.yourwebsite.com to your actual website URL putenv('AWS_CONFIG_FILE=/web/htdocs/www.yourwebsite.com/home/');You might also want to drop us an email at hello(at)preventdirectaccess.com so that our team can support you faster.

Hi @resin8bang,
Thanks for reaching out to us last night.
At first glance, it could be something to do with your setup configurations.
Could you please help to re-check the Access Key ID and Secret Access Key in your wp-config.php file?
If they’re configured correctly, you should be able to see your S3 bucket folders listed as per our attached screenshot here.
Please refer to our documentation here for more information:

Hi @resin8bang,
Thanks for reaching out to us last night.
At first glance, it looks like a CORS error.
If you upload files directly from your local, you need to enable Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) on your S3 bucket.
Please refer to our documentation here for more information:

Hi Duncan,
Glad to hear that our plugin is working well for you.
We assure you that there will be no issue when you upload 3 or 4 files at the same time.
And yes, you’re right.
The strain won’t be put on your WordPress server since all uploads will go directly to AWS.
Let us know if it makes sense to you.
Hi Duncan,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Just to clarify, we don’t have any limits on the number of file uploads.
Your uploaded files will go straight to AWS, and won’t be pre-processed or stored on your WordPress site/server.
To assist you better, may we know how many files are you going to upload at the same time?
Have you had a chance to try out our SSU plugin yet, by the way?
