I logged in using windows and the computer i work with. Add a post and the visual editor is OK. Try to add a page and the visual editor is OK. it is working properly. I’m very confused because I don’t know what caused this and don’t know what the solution is. I’d like to help the people having the same problem I found visiting different forums.
What I think is it was a problem of the server. I’ve hired a shared hosting provider. anacondaweb.com
The only thing I didn’t know how to do was to clear server cache. Probably the server support did the trick after i called them desperately asking for a solution.

I tried flushing cache from browser and plugins. server cache dont know how to do it.
I didnt have any plugin installed.
I renamed folder plugin and checked. no results.
the only theme i had was twenty fourteen.

Ive just logged in using firefox browser from linux ubuntu O.S. and the visual editor appears perfectly!

Ill try to log in from a new computer using windows and see what happens.

I started from scratch and installed wp 4.2.3.
when it finished installing the first thing i did was to create a new post. The visual editor appeared correctly!. When i tried to create the second post, it broke! only html editor. How is this possible?

(the visual editor is active from my user profile)
Not sure what to do now 🙁

    Thanks for your quick reply!
php memory_limit setting is set to 128mb. (maximum reccomended i think)
    I’ve already tried different browsers.

I’ve tried a fresh install of wp previous versions (4.0 – 3.9)and the problem remains.
I suppose this is a server problem instead of corrupt files from wp-package. but I’m not sure what to ask my hosting provider to modify.
I currently use Cpanel.. I’ll ask to reset my hosting service so i can start from scratch.
I’ll comment later how it works.

    1. Turn off Graphene’s homepage panes option.
    2. In static page you can’t choose as front page and post page the same Page. They must be different.
