Hi @jarnovos,
yes, I’ve found the settings for the Complianz cookies and they are set to the 365 days. My question is whether that setting can override all other cookie settings in terms of expiration period. Some of the cookies (like language settings or Facebook) are set to expire in a day, some in six months (at least that is what is shown to me on the English version of the website and in the backend via information from cookiedatabase.org) but that information does not show in the frontend of the website for the German language version and seems instead to be overwritten by the Complianz settings.
The odd thing is that it also shows correctly in the “Proof of Consent” document but not on the website.
My apologies, marked this as resolved too hastily as I was looking at one of the pages where it works.
Could the Complianz cookie settings override the cookie settings from the cookiedatabase?
Hi Jarno,
thank you for the reply. I’m not sure why or how but it seems fixed now.
Kind regards
Hi jarnovos,
Thank you for the quick reply! I resync’d the affected page but the problem still persists. The duration shows correctly in the backend settings but on the frontend it just shows the 365 days.
Here’s the page where it does not work: https://promatis.com/at/cookie-richtlinie-eu/ but shows correctly on: https://promatis.com/de/cookie-richtlinie-eu/. It also only seems to affect the German version of the page and not the English one.
