In reply to: [Post Timeline] Post type post creates incorrect read-more linkHi Agile 😉
Hey, that worked!
I simply added the empty pt-slug line to my original as in
[post-timeline ptl-slug=”” ptl-post-type=”post” category_id=”93″]
and immediately the Read more link worked great. This is super useful for us, as I will be able to use it on my history site for event timelines easily, but it also means others will be able to use it simply to display past blog entries in a more effective way too!
Excellent! Thanks for your reply and help!

In reply to: [Post Timeline] Post type post creates incorrect read-more linkHi again,
Okay, I managed to get it working by deactivating and then reactivating the plugin on a new test site! Not an ideal situation.
I noticed the url in the read more link still has the extra /post-timeline/ before the post title, but now somehow refreshes to the correct post url. So… I am guessing somehow the posts identified with the correct category are somehow added to the table for the Post Timeline plugin?
Anyway, however it works… I will try populating the page above by putting other posts in and see how long it lasts like this, and will get back to you. (Once I get back into my server. For some reason I got locked out just when I had some progress. Figures!)
Sounds like the exact same thing happened to me.
I used MESOCOlUMN theme, and only thing that has happened recently is that we updated the themes and all our plugins.
I had to go through all the Sidebars and retitle and reassign to pages.
Very very odd.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [MesoColumn] Load slider firstI don’t use Social icons on my site at http://societies.learnquebec.ca but indeed I would like to find a way to get no delay at all for the slider. Or at least to have the space there waiting and then get filled. When the site suddenly shifts downward as the slider arrives it is very annoying. (also I don’t think i can edit the javascripts). Any way I can speed it up? (resize images, load less, etc??)
Hi dridgeley
Did you ever get an answer to this? I am trying to find out how to solve it too, but when instead of using the Galleries I am picking from the galleries using something like [ngg_images image_ids=”571,569,570,572,568″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails”]
and I too would really like this to be the order, but no go. Any ideas?Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Codium Extend] Custom CSScan’t do anything where I am. installing a new theme could take months of going up the chain of command. but updates get added without asking.
anyway, if the developer is listening… custom css would be a nice addition!Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Codium Extend] Custom CSSHi. We use this theme in a closed educational setting where I don’t have right to install plugins. It would be really great if the custom css option could be added in next update to this theme so we could make small adjustments without using that plugin WPyogi mentioned.
