yesterday I installed this great plugin and faced a similar problem: calendar was not every time showing. Sometimes it appeared, after reloading the page it disappeared (sometimes). It was not robust. The root cause seemed to be an optimization plugin for asynchronous loading of JS. In my case, now it works fine.
