    Hello,

I have been told by proxycheck support that you were discussing this issue with them, and that they have provided you with advice on GoProxy and similar providers.

As for accessing with kaspersky, are you logged in on your site while doing so? You will not be detected and blocked if you are logged in. You may have to toggle on the detection of Hosting Providers in the Plugin settings Detection Types to get better coverage also.

    Kind Regards,

    Apologies for this!

It should not happen in 3.5.5 which I just released. It seems the only version with the debugging code causing this is 3.5.4.

It should not be a problem to export that table ‘pvb_visitor_action_log’ from the working site and import it to the db without it, but as always, be sure you have a full backup of your database before making any changes!

I will continue to look into why it may happened though.

    Hello,

This is quite strange, I just set up a completely new WordPress installation and installed the Plugin freshly, the table is created as expected, I don’t see why it could be missing for you.

I am assuming when you go to the Action Log tab under PVB settings, there is no data there on that site either.

    What is your database setup?

The error that the table doesn’t exist for the logging functionality shouldn’t affect other parts of the plugin and the proxy/vpn detection however.

    Kind Regards,

    Hello Maurice,

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

It is possible that the code to create the required table for that log was not running for a fresh install and you may have installed this (either for the first time or a fresh reinstall) after the log feature was added.

I will be pushing an update for fixes to this soon.

Hi, yes in 3.5.2 it should be in PVB Settings > Detection Types, I would recommend only the types Detect Proxies, Compromised Server IPs and Tor IPs are turned on, and optionally Detect VPNs if you are intending to also detect those.

    Hello Fred,

An update has been released that should allow you to control this more specifically and the hosting and web scraper types will be off by default in the settings.

The risk score in your case is the likely cause as it’s probably fluctuating up and down so you will see varying results but this may have been combined with the types determined by proxycheck.io in 3.5.0

Please let me know if it improves now.

    Hello,

I was informed of this by proxycheck.io support, but told that this was due to some very specific custom rules on your account and that they have corrected this, is it functioning as expected now?

Appreciate your response, that makes sense! It seems that the make.com IP(s) risk score has increased as far as the API is concerned, so the plugin will be doing as it is supposed to and rejecting connections based on your risk score thresholds.

Some further improvements around this area will be looked into.

    Hello,

Apologies for this, it is possible that make.com is being classified as a hosting provider which may be being marked as proxy detected. proxycheck.io’s v3 has many different types and more than one can be defined at the same time. May I ask what you see for this in the Action Log in the PVB Settings?

I am investigating this further and will provide update on this shortly.

    Kind Regards
