Thanks – apparently the new version of WordPress ignored where the old slideshows were and expected them to be in a 2015 directory; this was solved by completely recreating the page that called Slideshow as a new page with the same code, deleting the old page and renaming the new one.
So a WordPress issue, not Slideshow.
