I agree. I’m having the same issue since this last update. And others as well, see here:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/3-5-0-call-to-a-member-function-close-on-null/#post-10301833Update:
Rolled back to 3.4.5 and can confirm there aren’t any errors triggered in this version. And not only the log files are a lot smaller – more importantly the jobs runs in half the time or faster, because it isn’t halted all the time.- This reply was modified 8 years ago by pyramusnl. Reason: update after roll-back to previous version
Hey, I’m also getting the this error message since the last update to 3.5.0 on all my installations. Gonna try to roll back to the previous version now with your instructions.
However, I think this bug should be re-opened, as it’s not fixed!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] undefined function is_embed()UPDATE: just checked and can confirm that v4.1.4 is still working fine as well, so it seems this bug has been introduced in v4.2
Hey David, sorry for not replying before. You can close it.
After every update, the previously collected data from A/B tests vanished, so I stopped using the plugin.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [The Events Calendar] open Google Calendar link in new windowbarry, sorry to re-open this but would this thing be possible to fix with a filter? i did use a hook
tribe_get_organizer_emailto make email addresses clickable, so I imagine you might also have a hook to customize code around links?
currently, i’m still editing the code after every update, so i would really help me to fix this in another way.hope to hear from you
Great that’s perfect!
Hey there, thanks for the suggestion. I would prefer to avoid change core plugin functionality as much as possible in favour of auto-updating. Looking forward to your forthcoming update. Keep rocking!
Hey David, your update partly resolved this issue. Thank you for that. However, the search seems broken now (it keeps spinning and never actually completes with results) so I still can’t add an experiment for a product that is not in the initial list. Any thoughts?
great, good luck!
hey there david, any eta on that update with the woocommerce fix you were creating?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Release: The Events Calendar 3.12.4hey there, did you mean to include that complete

In reply to: [ZenCache] Issues with hardcoded location to zencache.phphey there, i’m using 150930. i looked back in my commits and have been using zencache since version 150409. maybe you introduced this fix after that version and it didn’t work retroactively?
Hey David,
Thanks so much for your quick response.
Maybe I wasn’t clear enough: the homepage is not listed. So searching doesn’t help. And when I switch to the other option, it does show the option “Landing Page (theme-based) but that doesn’t work either. (Even after several days, I don’t get any pageviews for any of these heatmap experiments, while I do see pageviews coming in for my other experiments).
After your other comment about WooCommerce, I think I should add that my homepage is actually the WC shop Base Page. Could this be related?

In reply to: [ZenCache] Issues with hardcoded location to zencache.phpAs you can imagine, this is very unhandy: you should not have to manually change settings or delete files when pushing from say staging to production. I have an automated workflow where any manual intervention is a lot of (unwanted) hassle.
And as I explained, I don’t think there’s a good reason for that: using my fix easily resolves this issue. So why would you still write a hardcoded path in the file? Do I miss something?
Okay, thanks for that. But I guess my initial post still stands: the warning message is a tad confusing, because it tells you the plugin version is outdated.
