As for bbPress, I’m not totally sure how posts are handled in relation blog posts or pages, but the plugin just isn’t applied. An example: http://i.imgur.com/FhC6UXa.jpg.
If you had any ideas for something I could do to modify bbPress to test this, I’d be down to do that and report back!
