I updated to the newest version of wordpress 3.8.1 and this solved the problem.

It is now showing up properly.

@danny – I am having the same problem with one of my sites using this plugin.

I am getting the ? mark in a box. When I click on the ? box, the image shows up. I have changed the image size, tried thumbnail and normal, deactivated, reactivated, and renewed the cache file each time. Still the same thing.

Any ideas?
