In reply to: [Comment Mail] Add new subscription page@snorklebum Glad you’re enjoying the plugin! 🙂
I was wondering if there was a way to easily customise the Add new subscription page, all users on my site are logged in so the email, first name and last name fields are populated already and ideally should be hidden.
There’s no easy way to do that in the Lite version, but the Pro version adds an Advanced Templates section where you can modify the template for that ‘Add New Subscription’ page (see screenshot).
@erikvisser Yes, it’s working great with WordPress 4.7 and PHP 7.

i just need to show some content only for specific countries not for all@shethdhaval As I mentioned above, Comet Cache has the ability to do that, yes, but you must build the integration using Dynamic Version Salts.

In reply to: [Comet Cache] Comet Cache and migrating to a new URLDeactivating and uninstalling Comet Cache should empty the advanced-cache.php file and the cache directory, yes, but I mentioned that they shouldn’t be copied over to clarify that you can delete both of those before/after the migration and you’ll be safe. Comet Cache automatically recreates them upon installation.

In reply to: [Comet Cache] Comet Cache and migrating to a new URL@dmcox If you just want to test Comet Cache on your site, you can install it on the testing domain and run your tests, but prior to the migration I recommend disabling and uninstalling the caching plugin, then reinstalling it on the new site after you’ve done the migration.
The
wp-content/advanced-cache.phpfile and anything insidewp-content/cache/should not be copied over to the new site, as doing so might cause problems.I hope this helps!
@itsmeithink As Jan explained, support for Pro versions of the software must be handled off the forums. Please open a support ticket and we’ll gladly help! 🙂

In reply to: [PHP Compatibility Checker] FALSE POSITIVE: Comet Cache@octalmage Thanks so much for forwarding those comments to the appropriate place! 🙂 Yes, if you could whitelist Comet Cache, that would be fantastic.
Also note that I submitted a similar report for Comment Mail; if you could whitelist that one too that would be great.
We’ve tested both of these plugins quite extensively against PHP 7 and we run them both in production environments of our own.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Comet Cache] is it working with geoip target@shethdhaval In the future, please post support questions in the support forum; this is the Reviews area.
Plugins that detect the IP address using geolocation and then change content based on that location will need to be specifically designed to work with caching plugins like Comet Cache, otherwise the caching plugin has no idea that a separate version of the cache should be maintained for each geolocation.
Comet Cache provides a Dynamic Version Salt feature that other plugins can integrate with to create separate caches of the site based on the geoloction detection. An example of a plugin author using this is the WooCommerce Currency Switcher plugin.
