In reply to: [Comet Cache] Empty FoldersI’m opening a new GitHub issue to track this: https://github.com/websharks/comet-cache/issues/868
If you can provide me with a temporary WordPress Dashboard administrator account on a test site where this issue is occurring, that will help. As of now, I’m not able to reproduce this issue on any of my test sites.
Please submit details privately on https://cometcache.com/support/ and provide a link to this forum thread for context. Thanks!

In reply to: [Comet Cache] Empty FoldersI understand you’re using the Lite version. No problem. If there’s a bug in the Lite version that is potentially affecting lots of people, we want to get to the bottom of it and fix it.
@superman250 Thanks so much for the awesome 5-star review! 🙂

In reply to: [Comet Cache] Empty Folders@massimod We have had exactly 2 reports of this issue out of 50,000+ active installs. We’ve run tests on dozens of different hosting environments and we have not been able to reproduce the issue described.
Until we can reproduce the issue, we cannot confirm that there is a bug.
If you’d like to give us temporary access to a test installation on your server, I’d be happy to run a few additional tests. (Please open a support ticket to provide details privately and please reference this support thread.)

In reply to: [Comet Cache] Empty Folders@massimod So it sounds like this is a permissions issue or something related to your hosting environment. You’ll need to check with your web hosting company to figure out what might be going on.

In reply to: [Comet Cache] Empty Folders@massimod I just ran the latest version of Comet Cache Lite through another test (on WP 4.7, PHP 7) and when I hit “Clear Cache”, all of the directories in
wp-content/cache/comet-cache/cache/http/example-com/were deleted. Nothing changed in the latest version related to how the cache is cleared.Have you tried installing an old version of Comet Cache and checking if you still have this issue? Also, which version of PHP are you running?

In reply to: [Comet Cache] Empty FoldersSorry, I missed that you said there were no debug errors.
Comet Cache Lite v161221 is working fine in all of the environments that I’ve tested it in. Is it possible to setup another WordPress site on your server and try installing Comet Cache there to rule out any plugin conflicts? See https://cometcache.com/kb-article/testing-comet-cache-in-a-clean-wordpress-installation/

In reply to: [Comet Cache] Empty FoldersIf you enable debugging and try clearing the cache, do you see any errors? https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Debugging_in_WordPress

In reply to: [Comet Cache] Empty Folders@massimod can you confirm which version of Comet Cache you are running? Also, you’re referring to the Lite version, correct?
Apparently cache is not working well.
Please see How do I know if Comet Cache is working?
does Clear Cache removes the directories ?
Yes, the Clear Cache button removes the cache files as well as the directories generated by Comet Cache inside

In reply to: [Comet Cache] No binaries please.@jsmoriss Thank you for the report.
The Lite version here on ww.wp.xz.cn does not contain any binaries. The Pro version, which you appear to be reporting about, will not include those binaries in the next update. That was the fault of our build system, which we recently tweaked.
Also, please note that as per the WordPress Forum Guidelines, we’re not allowed to discuss or provide support for the Pro version here on these forums. If you have questions about the Pro version, you can open a support ticket or use our forum. Thank you. 🙂
