Why doesn’t Comet Cache “Eliminate Render Blocking” and move CSS/JS scripts into the footer?

In reply to: [Comet Cache] Captcha sum incorrect problem in WooCommerce@wfrontew If that page has a WooCommerce-generated nonce, Comet Cache should not be caching that page (you can check by viewing the source of that page). In either case, you can tell Comet Cache not to cache the page where the form shows up by excluding it in Comet Cache → Plugin Options → URI Exclusion Patterns.

In reply to: [Independent Publisher] Home page image gradiation@mycheflara The version of the theme you’re using is the WordPress.com version; this support forum is for the ww.wp.xz.cn version (which is different). See this article for details.

In reply to: [Comet Cache] Browser Caching@hrantabelyan We do include options for browser caching, but those options are only available in the Pro version. You can preview the options if you click the “Preview Pro Features” button in the top-right of the options page and then visit the Apache Optimizations panel.
Glad to hear you’re enjoying the plugin! 🙂 Thank you for the kind words.

In reply to: [Comet Cache] Comet Cache Not Caching Pages because of Contact Form 7 nonce@lukecavanagh We have not heard any reports of issues with other form plugins, but I have not tested any others specifically.
We are actually working towards allowing
noncevalues to be cached in certain scenarios (when using Logged-In User caching, as each version of the cache is separate and therefore it would be safe to cache thenoncevalue); see this GitHub issue. However, that won’t solve the problem for anonymous visitors. If a form plugin is usingnoncevalues, there’s simply no safe way to cache that page. The best way around this would be to use a form plugin that doesn’t utilizenoncevalues, or one that allows disabling them so that the page can be safely cached.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Comet Cache] Comet Cache not caching@rpvp There are really only two scenarios where you’d get that message: 1) You are actually logged into the WordPress site, or 2) you’ve left a comment on the site and a cookie was set in your browser. If neither of those apply, Comet Cache should not produce that message. Clearing your browser cache should rule out the cookie issue, so it’s really odd that you’re still seeing that message.
Would it be possible to get a link to the site so that I can see if it shows that message for me too?

In reply to: [ZenCache] _cron_zencache_cleanup cron still running after removing Zencache@hughforsyth Hey Hugh,
You can easily (and safely) remove that cron event by installing a plugin like WP Crontrol. Once installed and activated, visit Tools → Cron Events and simply delete the old ZenCache cron event.
That event should have been removed when you deactivated and deleted ZenCache, but if it’s still there then you can simply remove it as described above and no harm will be done. 🙂

In reply to: [Comet Cache] Clears cache when to activate and deactivate the plugin@alexandrvch Comet Cache clears the cache whenever you activate and deactivate a plugin because the plugin you’re activating or deactivating might change the front-end of the site. If a plugin changes the front-end of the site and cache is not cleared, then visitors will see an old (outdated) version of the cache.
If you want to prevent Comet Cache from clearing the cache automatically, you can see this article: Disabling Automatic Clear / Wipe Cache Routines (note that this is a Pro-only feature)

In reply to: [Comet Cache] Not Compatible With Google AMPComet Cache Lite, which is what you’re reviewing by posting a review here on ww.wp.xz.cn, is fully compatible with the WordPress AMP plugin and causes absolutely no validation errors.
The issue that you’re referring to above has to do with a specific Comet Cache Pro feature (the HTML Compressor), which is not part of the version of Comet Cache hosted in the WordPress Plugin Directory.
As described on the related GitHub issue, we’re in the process of fixing the HTML Compressor (again, a Pro feature) so that it’s compatible with AMP markup.
