Turns out this was an issue with PHP versions and the version of Timthumb I had installed with the theme. I replaced timthumb.php with the newest version and everything works again.
I’m looking for this too. I have over 800 posts all with an inline image selected already. I want to retroactively go back and set them all as featured images for a new theme I’m using. Is this possible?
