I figured it out. I switched the library to https://cdn.datatables.net/1.10.19/js/jquery.dataTables.js instead of using http://brownsbest.de. I feel silly now.
Our site HTTPS is stopping the non-httpS js file from loading http://brownsbest.de/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/js/jquery.datatables.min.js

One last thing I just ran into. Our site is HTTPS so it’s preventing v<script type=”text/javascript” src=”https://brownsbest.de/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/js/jquery.datatables.min.js?ver=1.9″> from loading. I’m not a programmer so I’m not sure a way around this.

Ah I used the hide within the plugin and it wasn’t working. The example I’m working on http://easydita.staging.wpengine.com/table-test-delete/
Question: When nothing checked, it’s showing up as blank values. What am I missing?

This is exactly what I need. One question, if I hide fields will they still be filterable? For my project, I’ll have 20 columns with ‘features’ but they don’t need to be visible to the visitor.

I cleared the cache on our plugin and my browser and I still see the link. We use autoptimize.
I also have the https://tablepress.org/extensions/remove-edit-link/ active on our staging site http://easydita.staging.wpengine.com/pricing/

I’m having an issue where all site visitors can see the edit button. The plugin didn’t remove it either.

I’m having the same issue of the CSS not responding. It looks like the default styling is overriding most things. For example, changing the background on row 3 and 4 will result in visible changes only on row three. Alternating rows is not selected.
Can I send a link to the website? It’s not live.
