@mailpoet: Even with the newest plugin version 2.7.10 I still have the same problem as mentioned above. I’m using version 2.7.5 to avoid the issue, but I really hope the problem will be fixed in an upcoming version.

@japenz: You can download older plugin versions at:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wysija-newsletters/advanced/

Yes, I have the same problem and error message (plugin version 2.7.8).

When downgrading to plugin version 2.7.5 everything works fine again.

Please fix the issue in the next plugin version.

I have the same problem with the newest plugin version 2.7.7.

Trying to send a test email yields the following error:

    Request error not JSON:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class phpmailerException in […]/httpdocs/wp-includes/class-phpmailer.php on line 4040

Trying to subscribe to the newsletter on the frontend doesn’t work either.

When reverting back to plugin version 2.7.5 everything works fine again.

Please fix the issue in the next plugin update.

    Thanks for your response.

I couldn’t find any error messages either, that’s why the whole thing seems so strange. I did countless tests and no mail was ever sent. And yes, I checked the spam folder as well.

Today, after resetting the plugin (i.e. entering and saving all the settings anew), I’m surprised and delighted that the plugin finally works again. I have no idea what the problem was, but now the test email function as well as form submissions work correctly again. 🙂

    Thanks for your reply.

Below I’ll post the “Server Info” as well as the info that appears after sending a test email.

Does that help to identify the problem?

I just noticed that the problem is most likely due to an issue with the Gmail SMTP plugin, rather than CF7. So I’ll move my problem to their support forum.

Thank you UmarNiazi! I had the same issue and your tip solved it. Without it I probably would have spent hours to figue out what the problem was. So thanks again, your help is much appreciated. 🙂

    Can anyone help?

Thank you David! Adding the mentioned “remove filter” code to the theme’s functions.php fixed the issue for me. 🙂

This is still an unresolved and important issue for me. Does anyone have the same problem? Or an idea on how to fix it?

I’m having the same problem. Even though the “open in new window” box is checked, it’s not doing so.

Does anyone have solution to this?

Thanks for the feedback nikoski. Your fix didn’t work for me. (Did you add the code to wp-content/themes-ai1ec/vortex/style.css ?)
I’m going to open a new ticket as Richard suggested above.

Almost everything seems to be working thanks to the css code above. One problem remains, however: when hovering over events in the first row of the calender, the top part of the “bubble” gets cut off. See link above for an example.

YES! Thank you very much Ula, it does help! The dropdown menu as well as the widget now work! Thank you, I’m very happy! 🙂

    One small problem remains, however:
The hover “bubbles” of events on the first line of the calendar get cut off. See the following link for an example:

Is there an easy css solution for this, too?
