In reply to: [Ivory Search - WordPress Search Plugin] CSS HelpThanks for the update.
I’ve added the below to functions.php for my theme and got a starting point now.
It shows text at the top left corner, I’ll try and figure out how to get it styled better and directly above the search-box later.Adding here more for the visibility of others who may be attempting the same.
/**
* Customise Popup Search
*/function mysearchtitle()
{
echo “hello”;
}add_action(‘is_before_popup_search_form’,’mysearchtitle’);

In reply to: [Ivory Search - WordPress Search Plugin] CSS HelpSo I should add something like the below?
echo ‘<div class=”” style=”display:post-title”> hello </div> ;
I’ve tried a few iterations but keep breaking it.
Sorry for the rookie support query.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Ivory Search - WordPress Search Plugin] CSS HelpSuper, that did the trick.
Now just a tiny enhancement:
If I want to add a H1 Heading just above the search box saying.. “Search”— is that popup wrapper in a file I could tweak?

In reply to: [Ivory Search - WordPress Search Plugin] CSS HelpOh. Sorry for being unclear. What I meant was, I’m using the popup style menu search form.
It throws up the search box which I’ve resized, but around it the rest is shaded a transparent black, I’d like it to be white and add some H1 text to it.
Where can I access that specific layout, or can it be done within custom css?
<Edit> The search form customiser concerns the text box and the results but not the are around the search box, that black/transparent area.

In reply to: [Ivory Search - WordPress Search Plugin] Search Result, Yet NotI think I’ve figured it out, nothing to do with the plugin.
https://jun6lee.in/?s=pesky worked and only brought up the Sadak post.
I opened the Pesky Filenames post, hit update and now it shows under search results, will have to do that with all my posts I guess.
Thanks for the diagnosis help though.

In reply to: [Ivory Search - WordPress Search Plugin] Search Result, Yet NotActually, it’s not the theme.
https://jun6lee.in/?s=sadak works
The only thing different about that post is that it’s new.
The rest were imported via WordPress XML importer from another WP instance.So, it seems something in the search native functionality is not liking imported posts.

In reply to: [Ivory Search - WordPress Search Plugin] Search Result, Yet NotAfter resetting default: https://jun6lee.in/?s=bmw&id=2517 — No results
After disabling, you’re right, same. https://jun6lee.in/?s=bmw
Guess the problem lies in the theme.
Strange though, as it was their website that recommended this plugin.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [My Movie Database] Can’t use the shortcode in normal postIt’s hyphens, not underscores.
Try [my-movie-db id=13]I had this misconception due to some inconsistency on the documentation page too.

In reply to: Site Won’t Load?having similar troubles:
was fine this morning & now it tells me:Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.nothing has changed though’
