From what I have understood, it is something with one of the themes that I am using – Advocate theme from Two2Twelve
I got this from their support desk
“From what I can see, the plugin is using an older version of jQuery than the template and this is why this problem appears. You can try downgrading the jQuery or asking the plugin author for help. Unfortunately this is out of the means of our complementary support and I can’t help you further”
