    Hi,

I am using the Seriously Simple Podcasting plugin to manage my podcast and the Seriously Simple Stats plugin to track podcast analytics. My RSS feed for the podcast is managed via Seriously Simple Podcasting.

I’ve developed a custom audio player for my website and would like to ensure that plays through this player are accurately recorded by the Seriously Simple Stats plugin. So I can track the number of plays.

Could you please advise on the following:

    1. Is there a built-in method or API endpoint in the plugin that I can utilize to register plays from my custom player?
    2. Are there specific hooks or filters provided by the plugin that would allow me to integrate my player with the analytics system?
    3. What is the recommended approach to ensure that plays from a custom audio player are tracked correctly by Seriously Simple Stats?

The story with SSP code was a recommendation from ChatGPT to add to the player code I developed. However, I wanted to clarify the issue with you more precisely to ensure I am following the best practices.

Thank you for your assistance! If there are alternative solutions or recommendations beyond what I’ve described, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.

    Best regards,

    Ranel

    Hi,
Thanks a lot, I disabled Defender by deleting it from the server, and that solved the problem.
I don’t know why the email with the code wasn’t sent to me, I tried to click resend several times.
But through the authentication app it does work.
    Thanks
