Yes, Conversion API is enabled from the beginning.
Thanks for your response and clarification regarding duplicate Purchase events — we appreciate the tip about the Pixel Cat Premium feature to prevent that.
However, our main concern is still unresolved:
Even when the Purchase event fires correctly with the accurate value (as confirmed via the Test Events tool), the reported purchase values in Meta Ads Manager do not match the actual WooCommerce order totals.
For example, an order placed at 10 PM with a value of 50 KWD may not appear in Ads Manager at all, while other events show up with different values and do not correspond to any actual orders.
We understand attribution delays and modeled conversions may be involved, but we would appreciate your input on whether:
- This is a known limitation with browser-only tracking in Pixel Cat.
- The value might be misinterpreted during actual session/page revisit scenarios (even with the correct event firing).
- Or if additional measures (like server-side tracking or structured event value control) are required to ensure accurate reporting in Meta Ads.
Please let us know if there’s any recommended approach for aligning Ads Manager-reported values more closely with actual order data when using Pixel Cat.
I’ll share the screenshots below. On June 29, we received three orders. Two of these came from Facebook ads. The purchase value for one order was captured correctly, but for the other order, the value is incorrect. The order value is 20 KWD (approximately 66.50 USD), but in the ad reporting, it’s showing as 117.71 USD. Additionally, the timestamps are different—ads reporting shows the order between 14:00-15:00, but there were no orders on the website during that time.

Thanks for your detailed response.
I’ve gone through the troubleshooting steps you shared:
- I tested the Purchase event via Meta’s Test Events tool — the event is firing correctly, and all parameters such as value, currency, and product data are accurate.
- Deduplication is working properly based on consistent
event_idvalues. - I also confirmed that refreshing or revisiting the Thank You page does trigger an additional Purchase event.

That said, my main concern remains: in Meta Ads reporting (via Ads Manager), I’m seeing discrepancies in reported purchase values. For example, an actual order received at 10 PM today does not appear in Ads reporting at all, while other Purchase events are recorded at different times with values that don’t match any WooCommerce order.
Since the event is sending the correct value and is confirmed to be firing properly, I’m trying to understand why Meta is reporting different values. I suspect it could be due to:
- Duplicate events triggered on page revisits being counted as separate purchases
- Attribution mismatches (orders not attributed to ad clicks or showing up with estimated/modeled conversions)
- Possible value differences from revisits or session mismatches
Do you have any recommendation on how to prevent the Purchase event from firing again on Thank You page revisits (e.g., through session-based control)? Or any best practices specifically for Pixel Cat to avoid inflated purchase values in Meta Ads?
Thanks again for your support.
