After some conflicting and confusing instructions for the fix, the 9.5.0.1 free plugin update worked for me as well after saving the unmodified Permalinks.
As a general note for issues after plugin updates in general, I ALMOST always re-save the Permalink Unmodified Settings. That was a tip I ran across years ago with another, now-forgotten, plugin issue.
I will try to remember to reincorporate that simple move back into my standard after-update routines such as clearing cache et al.
Thanks
Ras
I updated 9.5.0 to 9.5.1.

I can’t find the 9.5.0.2 plugin update, either in the WordPress repository or on your website.
Thanks

In reply to: [Smart Custom 404 Error Page] 404 page doesn’t show updated textISSUE SEEMS RESOLVED. SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN CAUSED BY SWIFT PERFORMANCE PRO.
Looking at my original post, I realized that the issue as stated might have seemed confusing.
Bottom line is that at client’s request, I edited the copy on the original custom 404 page I created.
When encountering a “true” 404 page, one that really did not exist, the new updated copy appeared.
But when the 404 was caused by a failure of a 301 redirect an http prefix or a www prefix, the old unedited copy appeared.
I worked with GoDaddy on the redirect issue and they deemed it solved. However in reality, the redirect of http or www prefixes were not working.
This morning I received an alert the website was down. On ALL pages I got the generic message: “Error message: 404 Not Found” not the 404 plugin page.
I had just updated the 404 plugin to v. 11.0.5. While deactivating plugins to test for a culprit, it turned out to be Swift Performance Pro. I will re-activate and re-test that plugin later and see if I can keep it working without causing problems- it’s a fantastic plugin that I have recommended to anyone looking for a superb performance enhancement.forgot to include the actual sitemap generated:
I set up a new website with so far just one page.
The plugin generated the following sitemap xml file which Google doesn’t cant validate, and is in a format I haven’t seen before.
Should’t the url simply end in “xml”?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Swift Performance Lite] Can’t access dashboardI am experiencing the exact sane thing.
Generally the performance is fabulous.
The only issues that have experienced are the “tiemouts” when trying to access the Dashboard from the Swift Settings page, the other being that custom css styles (notably in the navigation menu) don’t always display without refreshing—sometimes several times.
Thanks
