Thanks for your response. After additional review of the ToolTip pages within my website. I notice an “Excerpt” feature that shows up below the main test area. It appears that your program uses that feature in my website to produce the text in the popup windows. In my case, that excerpt text area in not being automatically updated from the changes in the main text area. So I found that I will just have to manually make the changes in both areas when updating an exiting entry.

    Thanks for your help.

After experimenting with several solutions. The following is my findings and comments.

    1. I deactivated the cache plugin with no affect.
    2. I deactivated and reactivated the Toottip plugin with no affect.
    3. I trashed the term “doctrine” then restored it with no affect.
    4. I trashed the original entry and created a new entry which is the only thing to date that has worked.

My conclusions are that the cache plugin has nothing to do with the issue. With a new entry I can change anything within the new entry and it functions as it should in the popup window, with my cache program running.

It is my view that something has changed on my site since the original installation of the ToolTip plugin, that has affected ToolTip functionality.

This could be by adding some other plugin that has an effect on your plugin, or WordPress has made some update change that has effected the issue, or you organization has made and update change that has created this unforeseen issue.

In the end, it is an issue, and at this time my only solution is to recreate all my glossary terms and delete all the originals.

If you have any other suggestions I am open to them. I do not have time to implement my solution at this time, but i will get around to it.

In the mean time, if we do not know what has happened, we will never know if it will happen again with any additional updates from anyone. Therefore, your company should try to figure out this issue for your own benefit.

    Respectfully
