If it’s possible I would like both the slider AND the body text of my homepage visible. The workaround I have used is very temporary, because I might write other posts, thus replacing the welcome text from the recent posts feed.Forum: Themes and Templates

That way the news section is shown in two columns, which is a feature I won’t intend to use. I’ve turned on the news section in order to view the welcome text, but that’s a temporary solution.
The problem isn’t the news section. The problem is that the body of my assigned homepage isn’t visible when I assign the business template.

What you see is a copy of the body text of the homepage, which I put in a post, because it wasn’t visible when I assigned the Business Template. Hope these make things more clear:

thanks for your reply. These links however do not solve my issue. My issue is that once I assign the Business template to a page (my assigned homepage in this case), the body text disappears from the site.
