Checked it with the firefox debugger and all the connections are showing as secure both when logged in and out. I check in IE as well and the padlock stays secure when logged in. This only seems to be a problem with Chrome. Not sure what to do next.
Thanks for taking a look and your help. I checked it using chrome debug and got the info below. I use a chromebook, so will need to fire up my windows machine to check with firefox, which I’ll do now.
Mixed Content: The page at 'https://www.reallysimpleseo.com/members/premium/join?s2-ssl=yes' was loaded over a secure connection, but contains a form which targets an insecure endpoint 'http://www.reallysimpleseo.com/'. This endpoint should be made available over a secure connection. We’ve had problems with ddos attacks. I just blocked another ip, so it should work now.
Yes, they are all set to https though.
Hi Mvied,
Thank you so much getting back to me on this. I’ll reinstall and see how it goes.
Many thanks,

In reply to: [WordPress HTTPS (SSL)] Still showing insecure parts of pageHi Mike,
Your information has been a great help, as I sent it to the theme developer and he sorted things out in no time.
I’m writing some posts on using WordPress for online trading on my blog, and will recommend your plugin, as it does such a simple thing really well.
Many thanks for your help.
Best regards
David
