It does work as expected when seamless mode is turned off.
If I run the query directly I get the same error (Unknown column ‘wp_postmeta.meta_key’ in ‘where clause’)

In fact it just won’t show in firefox, the browser message is there when you inspect the element but isn’t actually shown.
