  • Also affected with this on 4 sites. First I got an email saying it was AIO SEO Pro causing the issue. Deactivated. Then AIO threw up a critical issue. Deactivated that one too.

    Extremely inconvenient since half our posts used redirects in AIO, so now I’m having to readd everything using the redirection plugin. Why was this pushed across our sites if it’s causing issues? Will need to find a different meta data plugin, I think.

    Hi, @jamesosborne! Thanks for your reply. Yes, we would like them removed. I understand there are benefits to keeping it active, but we’d prefer to have clean URLs for better user experience.

    I’ve read through your documentation that you linked above, but none of it provides a way to remove the gtag that Site Kit has added.

    The website code specifically says that it was added by Site kit, and I have already confirmed with Google Analytics chat support earlier today that this is not a tag that’s being added by Google Analytics–it’s from the plugin on WordPress.

    How do I go about removing this so the URL string isn’t added to subdomains?
