In reply to: [FA Lite - WP responsive slider plugin] FA Lite not working with WP 4.0.1Hello!
We have a similar problem. Also have WP version 4.0.1.
Theme is:
Precisio ProVersion: 1.0.1
Von Theme4PressWhen activating (via Website, not FTP) the Slider… light 3, following error appears:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare FA_display_slider() (previously declared in /mnt/web4/e3/69/53516569/htdocs/WordPress_06/wp-content/plugins/featured-articles-lite/includes/functions.php:252) in /mnt/web4/e3/69/53516569/htdocs/WordPress_06/wp-content/plugins/featured-articles-lite/main.php on line 146
We noticed then, that in the plugin area the old and the new plugin was there automatically. So we had the idea to delete the new one and go ahead with the old version, but after deleting the new one, the old was lost too.
The website: http://www.fmm-magazin-specials.de
We put the homepage now to blog mode for having the news feed.
But really would appreciate very much to go back to your slider!!!Thanks!

Hi Jeff,
I checked the JavaScript button (…Check this box if you want to include the external JavaScript file (recommended)., but the
user-submitted-posts/resources/usp.php is: (inaktiv)
Have no idea what to enter where with your explanation above. I found this code:
// add another image
var x = parseInt($(‘#usp-min-images’).val());
var y = parseInt($(‘#usp-max-images’).val());
if (x === 0) x = 1;
if (x >= y) $(‘#usp_add-another’).hide();
$(‘#usp_add-another’).click(function(e) {
e.preventDefault();
x++;
var $this = $(this);
var $new = $this.parent().find(‘input:visible:last’).clone().val(”);
$(‘#usp-min-images’).val(x);
if (x < y) {
$this.before($new.fadeIn(300));
} else if (x = y) {
$this.before($new.fadeIn(300));
$this.hide();
} else {
$this.hide();
}
$new.removeClass(‘usp-required-file’);
});Kindly advise what to do for getting it active.
Thanks!!BR, Petra
Hi Jeff,
thanks for your answer!
I tried by deactivating all plugins and re-activated yours first.
It was working correctly.Secoundly I re-activaded all others step by step again.
Still working fine.
So, finally no clue what it was. It works:-)BR, Petra

In reply to: [Copyright Proof] Update to WP 3.7?Hi Cian,
thanks very much for the honest answer!!
Hmmm… think about this. Unfortunately we’re still workign with 3.4.2., so not only one step ahead.Furthermore we’re planning to change the theme to 3Clicks.
If I test the WP 3.7 on localhost and it works. Is it then 100% sure that it also works online?

In reply to: [BulletProof Security] No functions work anymore website not availableThanks for replay so fast! Our solution was to restore all the content on the webserver from backup system. Now, all functions are back. But, in our WordPress Dashboard is still this message: “BPS Alert! Your site does not appear to be protected by BulletProof Security. Go to the Security Modes page and click the Create secure.htaccess File AutoMagic button and Activate Root Folder BulletProof Mode.”
When we implement the instructions, we got the same error message: “Forbidden you don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/wp-admin.php on this server.”
