Thanks for your reply. Part of the problem is that I don’t know exactly when this happened. I can guess that it’s around the time my website traffic slowed down significantly (10/31/20).
Nothing was done to this site around that time. I wasn’t even aware of the problem until someone e-mailed me about it. However, I do have another WordPress installation in a subfolder of my main site, and it was updated to version 5.5.3 around 10/31.
I’m not familiar with the diagnostic, logging, or debugging tools of WordPress (if any). So it’s hard for me to tell what could have happened.
