With the 3.8 wp version the site looks like new as I did some minor tweaks while writing
Anyway, can anybody tell me what happened in first place so I don´t do it again in the future?

Typed the backtick so this forum doesn´t read the text between <> (just in case…)
Anyway, should I check for irregular notation marks?

I still can´t understand how having changed the whole theme the problem persists
Y have all the content saved so maybe I could start the page from scratch, but don´t want to lose another two sites included in the same domain

–> Switched to default theme (twenty twelve) no change: even in this theme the categories of the menu with accents do not appear
–> No need of resetting the plugins folder because I have no inactive plugins
–> Lets try the fresh installation files re-upload…
